Start the year with a trip to the farmers markets

January brings the heat, but it also brings lots of produce. Whilst the olive growers are watching their olives ripen on the trees, and the wine makers are watching the bunches of grapes swell on the vine, our fruit and veggie growers have been busy in the kitchen pickling, and preserving and there’s nothing like fresh jam on toast.

Be early on Saturday to miss the heat, and of course get to choose the full range of fresh produce before it all sells.
