Mudgee Fine Foods runs separate Cooking & Gardening classes for Kids at the monthly Mudgee Farmers Market.
The cooking classes are led by local chefs & passionate foodies using local and seasonal produce, while the gardening classes teach the kids about growing their own herbs & veggies, flowers & succulents.
Our Kids Cooking Programme is currently waiting for the weather to warm up! Stay tuned for more classes.
Where do the classes take place?
The classes utilise the market stalls to gather their produce, then continue into the kitchen of St Mary’s Parish Church for cooking or just in the grounds for gardening.
What is provided?
Everything! Just BYO kid! Kids are given recipe and instructions sheets to take home so they can practice their new found skills!
Who can attend?
Any child aged 8-14 years can participate.
How do I book?
Bookings are essential as places are strictly limited. Places can be booked at the Raffle stall on Market Day or by emailing Di at email@example.com. You will need to complete a registration form and payment is required at the time of booking.

The kids love these hands on classes. Classes run seasonally with veggie box planting to kick off the spring growing season, herb planting in Summer, or just for fun our Crazy Cactus Boot planting proving to be a huge hit!
