the last farmers market for the year

With just one week to go till Christmas day,The grounds of St Mary’s Church will be buzzing on Saturday morning.

It’s the last chance to get a bite at the cherry for this season – see Clearview, Roth Farm and Thornbrook orchard stalls.

The live music and aromas of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon and egg rolls will keep you going while you taste your way around the market stocking up the pantry and fridges with Christmas fare. For that truly local feast there is free range pork and organic veggies to roast, mustards for the ham, bubbles for celebrating, plum puddings and cherries for dessert, and a huge range of sauces and pickles for every meal.
Many stallholders have ready to go gift packs, or pick up a farmers market bag and put together a range to suit your budget.
If you are feeling lucky pop by the raffle table for a chance to win one of 3 hampers (all valued over $100) of Mudgee wine and food.
