Farm walk information
Cost
$15/person or $35/family (2 adults and 2 kids – extra child $5).
Tickets must be pre-purchased. Tickets are available via our website, from the information marquee at the Farmers’ Market, or at the Mudgee Visitor Information Centre.
When
Farm Walks run on the third Sunday of the month, between March and November.
Where
Tours start at 9am from the Mudgee Visitor Information Centre (90 Market St, Mudgee).
Duration
Tour times can vary, but please allow 3 to 3.5 hours.
On the third Sunday of the month, join us on our guided Farm Walks to explore and appreciate everything our local working farms have to offer.
Two local farms will open their doors each month for visitors and residents to explore the origins of local, seasonal produce. Depending on the season, you may get to see olive oil, free-range pork, locally grown vegetables, vineyards, a fig or cherry orchard, or a working winery.
Farm Walk participants get to meet the farmer and share their passion about what they produce, along with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get your hands dirty. There will also be the opportunity to purchase produce direct from the farm gate.
