Unfortunately due to the current situation in our region, this Saturday’s Farmers’ Market has been cancelled.
The safety of our community, stallholders and volunteers is paramount and given that Mudgee has now had active cases which may increase over the coming week, we felt this was the right decision to make. Whilst we are still deemed an essential service and are perhaps a safer shopping environment than the bigger supermarkets, we do feel its necessary to skip this month and appreciate everyone’s understanding.
Lets hope this lockdown is short lived and that we can see you all again in September.
Everyone stay safe during this difficult time and we will keep you updated on the next market as things develop. ... See MoreSee Less
Hope everyone had a great time on Sunday at our first monthly Makers’ Market, though it was a little quieter than usual due to Sydney lockdowns, there was no shortage of deliciousness - was so lovely to see so many locals out and about supporting each other - we adore this awesome market haul and gorgeous photo from local maker @pebblypath. Inspired by colours and textures from the Australian bush, local potter Catherine Sykes’ beautiful ceramics have found themselves quite the local following. Pickup these functional beauties at her stall @claycatpottery on Sunday.
Soup bowls would be a fitting addition to any home in this cold weather and would also make a lovely heirloom gift to give!

Its been a very chilly winter indeed this year. We’ve got a brand new petware stallholder joining us at the markets this Sunday, so if you’re in the market for a new premium quality coat for your furry friend or perhaps they’re just in need of a style update, get down to the markets on Sunday to visit Colleen from K Nine Dog Coats - all locally made, triple polar fleeced, available in a huge range of prints to help doggos see the remainder of the winter out!
And don’t forget to pickup a few treats too from @pettreatsdirect!

We’re very excited to say we will now be bringing you fortnightly markets!
Our new schedule sees our Makers’ Market held on the first Sunday of every month (except January and February), starting next Sunday 1st August.
The Farmers’ Market remains unchanged on the third Saturday of every month, followed by the Farm Walks on Sunday’s.
So, there will be plenty more chances for you to buy seasonal, locally grown and produced food and wine & somewhere to grab a coffee and brekky on Sunday mornings!
Thinking of all our visitors and neighbours who are staying home throughout NSW, our stallholders are looking forward to welcoming you all back shortly and then you’ll have another market to shop at for all those exceptional, handmade and tasty goodies!

Don’t forget this month is Plastic Free July and despite the difficulties of living under the current restrictions, we can still “…take care of our health and reduce our impact on the environment.” One of the greatest contributions you can make to the movement is to choose unpackaged, fresh, local produce from smaller, ecologically responsible producers, instead of companies who just want to pass the burden of disposal management onto the consumer, taxpayers and local governments.
Here at @mudgeefarmersmarket all our stallholders are encouraged to use biodegradable packaging and when they can’t, recyclable or reusable content. Additionally we go to great lengths to minimise our waste footprint with onsite recycling using a ‘bin bank’ & market helpers to educate customers on what goes where.
And for the perfect accessory for @plasticfreejuly, pickup one of our cotton canvas market bags at the front gate for $10 each to support us in continuing to bring you the markets you love.

If you live regionally and have been wanting to visit Mudgee, this weekend is the perfect opportunity. The Mudgee Farmers’ Market is open Saturday 8:30-12:30pm with everything from organic local fruit, veggies, flowers, coffee, eggs, handcrafted soaps, fresh bread, artisanal cheeses and all of the olives, pickles, relishes and sweets you could want.
With less crowds and early sellouts, it certainly is a great time to come and enjoy a quieter atmosphere, grab a coffee and brekky, listen to some local live music and shop locally for the week ahead. You’ll also have greater access to engage with producer and the local community. We hope to see you there!
